Synopsis
Lee Ja-ha, known as the Mad Demon, dreams of becoming the God of Martial Arts. That dream ends when he falls off a cliff fleeing the Demonic Cult, from whom he has stolen the Jade of Heaven. He wakes up in his twenties again and, with what he knows of the future and of martial arts, gets another chance at revenge and at getting things right.
My take
Absolute top tier. Undoubtedly one of the most interesting protagonists in the genre. We’ve read this premise a thousand times, but Lee Ja-ha makes it all feel new. Required reading.

In murim, almost every premise has been done before. What sets the good ones apart is execution, and these eight nail it.
