Synopsis
After portals filled the world with monsters, humanity adapted and hunters emerged. Jin Tae-kyung is a low-ranked hunter barely getting by, until he accidentally logs into an old VR console and gets trapped in a murim world he can’t log out of. What happens there ends up having consequences in the real world.
My take
Undisputed top tier, one of my favorites. It blends two genres masterfully without either one losing steam. A fantastic protagonist and interesting stories in both worlds, so you don’t miss one while you’re in the other, yet the jump back is always welcome. Required reading.
