Murim Login Season 4: What We Know About Its Return
There's finally a date: season 4 kicks off on November 7, with two chapters at once. What we know and what's happening with the English version.

Updated on October 27, 2026 with the return date.
If you’ve spent months waiting for Murim Login to come back, I’ll save you the search: it returns on November 7, 2026. Season 3 ended in February and, after a nine-month break, season 4 finally has a date. Here’s what we know, how long past breaks lasted and what’s happening with the English version.
What we know about season 4
On October 21, KENAZ, the webtoon’s publisher, posted the return notice on KakaoPage: season 4 kicks off on November 7 with chapters 251 and 252 at once, then continues with one every Saturday. In Korea they go live on the night of Friday the 6th at 22:00 KST, which is 13:00 UTC (ChapterBrief).
Until then, the only official word was the February 6 notice alongside chapter 250: the series would return with an “even more fun” fourth season after some time to regroup, with no month and no rough window.
What it isn’t short of is story to adapt. Zero-BIG’s original web novel has been running on KakaoPage since March 2019 and is still ongoing. This break doesn’t look like a lack of material.
How long past breaks lasted
| Break | Last chapter | Return | Wait |
|---|---|---|---|
| Season 1 → 2 | 117 (May 2022) | August 2022 | About 3 months |
| Season 2 → 3 | 185 (February 2024) | July 2024 | Almost 6 months |
| Season 3 → 4 | 250 (February 2026) | November 7, 2026 | 9 months |
It’s been the longest break in the series. And, as in 2024, when the comeback was confirmed on July 12, two weeks before the first chapter, the date arrived with little warning: the notice came out just over two weeks before the return. In 2022, by contrast, the notice already mentioned three months of preparation.
It does coincide with Kakao’s reshuffle, which is merging Kakao Webtoon and KakaoPage into a single service before the end of 2026. Nothing links one thing to the other, so I wouldn’t read too much into it.
Reading in English? Watch out for Tapas
The only official English edition is on Tapas, as Log-in Murim, and it stops at chapter 117: the end of season 1. It’s been on hiatus since April, waiting for season 2, roughly 130 chapters behind the Korean release.
The catch is that Tapas shuts down on March 31, 2027. Episodes you’ve unlocked can’t be moved to KakaoPage or any other Kakao service, and Ink has been off sale since October 1, though you can spend what you have until the end (FandomWire). If you were planning to catch up, do it before then. Where the English version ends up afterwards, nobody has said yet.
Why it’s worth the wait
In case you’ve landed here without starting it: Jin Tae-kyung is a low-ranked hunter in a world overrun by monsters pouring out of gates. One day he accidentally logs into an old virtual reality console and gets stuck in a martial arts world he can’t log out of. What happens there ends up having consequences in the real world.
For me it’s undisputed top tier and one of my favourites. It blends the two genres masterfully, without either one losing strength: the stories in both worlds are so good you don’t miss one while you’re in the other, yet the jump back is always welcome. That’s why the wait feels so long.
Status: on hiatus between seasons (250 chapters plus a special, as of October 2026).
My scores: art 10 · story 9 · characters 9 · humour 9 · action 10. The full series page is here.
What to read while it’s away
If what hooks you is the genre mix, Nano Machine combines martial arts with science fiction. If it’s the murim itself, there are eight options in my best murim manhwa. And if you prefer the hunter side, check out the manhwa like Solo Leveling.
And if you haven’t started it yet, now’s a good time: there are 117 chapters in English to catch up on before Tapas closes.
