Murim Login Returns November 7: This Week in Manhwa

A week of comebacks. Murim Login has a date, Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint has a season and Overgeared has a new English home. The rest, in brief.

The wait is over (almost). On October 21, KENAZ posted Murim Login’s return notice on KakaoPage: season 4 kicks off on November 7 with chapters 251 and 252 at once, then continues with one every Saturday. In Korea they go live on the night of Friday the 6th at 22:00 KST, which is 13:00 UTC (ChapterBrief).

That’s nine months off, the longest break in the series, and the notice landed just over two weeks ahead, like in 2024. You’ll find everything, including the past breaks, in our season 4 article, which we’ve now updated.

The English version is lagging behind: Tapas still hasn’t said when season 2 continues, and it shuts down on March 31, 2027.

Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint season 2 this fall

At its New York Comic Con panel, WEBTOON confirmed that Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint season 2 returns “this fall” (RedBeanime). No exact date, so the countdown goes on, but at least it has a season now. The same panel mentioned the game Com2us is working on and a number: season 1 has racked up 3 billion views (Final Weapon).

Overgeared leaves Tapas for GlobalComix

Overgeared’s last chapter on Tapas, number 305, came out on September 26, and since then the series has missed three release days with no explanation. So have The Return of the Disaster-Class Hero and Tomb Raider King: End Line (ChapterBrief).

The way out has been announced: GlobalComix will publish all three “this fall”, still with no date or price. Anything you bought on Tapas will stay there until the shutdown, but you can’t take it to another platform.

The timing is the odd part: the Overgeared anime is airing on Crunchyroll right now (it’s all in our guide).

In brief

WEBTOON and Crunchyroll: a deal to bring 15 more webtoons to anime, together with HAYATE and LINE Digital Frontier. Titles mentioned include The Boxer, Teenage Mercenary and The Remarried Empress (KComicsBeat).
The Remarried Empress: the anime (TROYCA, 2027) now has its Japanese cast: Yoko Hikasa (Navier), Ryohei Kimura (Heinrey), Tomoaki Maeno (Sovieshu) and Reina Ueda (Rashta). The live-action series premieres next week on Disney+ (Hulu in the US), and the webtoon returns this fall with side stories (ChapterBrief).
The Blue Road: the Netflix series based on the comic Purungil now has a trailer. Son Suk-ku and Eita Nagayama play two detectives, from Seoul and Tokyo, chasing a murder in Shinjuku that looks too much like another one in Korea.
